Zone Leader Board — What it is ?
- The ZL Board is a visual system that displays the performance of the business and used as a tool to communicate information. It organizes the information the ZL is responsible to utilize in Running and Improving the Business all in one location.
- The ZL Board is broken into 4 categories: People, Quality, Cost and Speed. Information should include, Daily and Monthly trend data, Detailed Reasons supporting performance (Pareto), Corrective Action activities, SVM with training plan, Suggestion Cards and implemented ideas, communications, etc.
- The ZL Board helps a ZL “run and improve” their business by showing its performance, problems within the cell, and what action is being done to improve the business.
Zone Leader Board — How it Works ?
- According to the broken into 4 categories: People, Quality, Cost and Speed. It’s very important that per parts .
- Performance Trends : Daily trend chart & Monthly (Same measure)
- Reasons / Causes : Pareto Charts to show top & issues effecting the process
- Actions : 8 Step Problem Solving , worksheets, corresponding , to top issues on Pareto charts etc…

- Safety Cross: Mark it green if there were ，no injuries or near-misses，the prior day. Otherwise, Red. Record monthly injury totals.

- Trend Line with clear noticeable marker
Monthly measure
Average of the prior month’s daily results
- Pareto chart with data from repair or hospital log.
- 8 Step Problem Solving, corresponding to top issues on pareto.
